On Friday 6th March, Sigma were asked to join St Thomas' RC School in Keith to help them with their astronomy/science day, planned to coincide with National Science Week and the International Year of Astronomy. Sigma members helped out at various workshops, Bill Leslie made a comet and there was an extremely successful observing session. The day was finished off with Sigma's monthly meeting and a presentatin of telescope to St Thomas' School.
