I managed to get the shot I wanted to get for along time last night, of M51 the Whirlpool Galaxy. The seeing last night was the best I have ever know, after taking these shots I observed Saturn & 420x and the view was sharp and clear.
These Images were produced by stacking 8 light frames, 1 dark and 1 flat frame in deepsky stacker and processed in Photo shop.
Date - 1st March 2009
Equipment, Scope- Meade LXD 55. Camera- Canon EOS 300D.
